Greenwich Care Services, Sanctuary Supported Living
Greenwich Care Services provides supported accommodation with care, for adults aged 18 and over, with medium-level mental health needs. It has five buildings spread across Greenwich, comprised of 20 en-suite bedrooms in shared houses and 20 one-bedroom flats.
Everyone is supported to achieve greater independence. Staff draw up a personalised care and support plan with residents using the Mental Health Recovery Star model. Our highly-trained staff are on-site 9am to 9pm, seven days a week at all sites. There is an overnight concierge and out-of-hours telephone service, should residents require further support. Greenwich Care Services has a CQC overall rating of 'Good'.
Tailored support, advice and assistance include:
- Maintaining a tenancy
- Managing finances (budgeting and benefits)
- Cooking, cleaning and shopping
- Managing personal care and medication
- Dealing with correspondence
- Socialising and community involvement
- Developing hobbies and interests
- Maintaining health, safety and security
- Signposting and accessing other services
- Planning a successful move-on
We also provide follow-on support when residents move on to live independently. Residents can purchase telecare technology to promote their independence further.

To be eligible for a place at Greenwich Care Services, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Have a diagnosed mental health need
We only accept referrals from Greenwich Council. All care and support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
