Unlocking Identities Sessions - A Community Celebration from February 14th 2024.

This project is all about celebrating and raising awareness for people's identity by expressing it through creativity. We will be teaching different techniques over the 6 weeks and will be creating a textile which expresses individual identities and the groups. We also wanted to create an environment where people feel safe and valued to share but also for people to use this project to socialise.    Alongside all of that, we will be looking into the Royal Musuem's Greenwich' Collection and getting inspiration for the final product. We will have the 6^th week at Prince Phillip Maritime Collections Centre in Kidbrooke, showcase the final piece and have a tour of the site.
