The Extra Help Programme

Perinatal mental health for mothers, fathers and co-parents.

The service includes:

• Parent workshops focusing on prevention of Perinatal ill-health
• Promoting positive parenting skills, enhancing parent confidence, reducing mental health difficulties.
• Extra Help Champion training for parents to become champions to offer peer to peer support
• Provide peer to peer support

Sessions are also available for young mums who can receive information, guidance, support and practical training to support their well-being, and prepare them for motherhood.

This support service is delivered boroughwide at the locations and times listed below - 

Tuesdays
