Greenwich Safer Neighbourhood Board Public Meeting

Royal Borough Greenwich has an independent organisation ‘Safer Greenwich’ which runs the Greenwich Safer Neighbourhood Board.

Safer Neighbourhood Boards are required to meet regularly  to hold the police to account and  to ensure communities are more closely involved in problem solving and crime prevention;

They also exist to ensure the royal borough makes efficient use of resources to deliver value for money and target funds at tackling issues of local concern.

The Chair of Safer Greenwich Eileen Glover explains:   ‘as the only voluntary organisation solely focused on working in  partnership with the police and the local community  to prevent crime,

Safer Greenwich  enjoys working with all our partners and residents to make sure Greenwich is as safe as possible  for everyone’

This meeting will be preceded  by  Safer Greenwich Annual General Meeting 2017
